Ad Campaign Review: "Come as you are" from McDonalds, France.

Yesterday I found this ad campaign from McDonald's in Ads of the World. I thought it was simple and funny and both of the photos are very well produced. The idea is not very clear but it sure catches the attention. This is from BETC Euro RSCG, France. In a lot of posts inside the the comment section in the website it said it was a rip off but still they're worth watching. What it doesn't match is why to add an illustration from Asterix and Obelix when you have super produced photos in the campaign? Sometimes creative directors mess it up or they had to attach it to France in some way. Desperate effort still. And yes outside the US McDonald´s is a great brand to work with.
