1st Midtown Festival of the Arts 09.25.10

This post is coming a little bit late but It was fun. Once again this is the festival I had no idea about and was going to happen just feet from my place. Yes, I live in total disconnection from Atlanta but it was fun to see so many people so early. I walked around talking on my phone while people were buying food, photos and appreciating local artists. I decided just to go an listen to the bands on the main stage.

The band I really really liked and played early were The Soulphonics and Rubby Velle. They had it going on and not a lot of people were there to see them but I have to say that they were cheering everyone by that time. Their music is fantastic.

Another band that had it going playing old classic rock covers were The Main Street Exiles. The lead singer dances sort of like Mick Jagger and Scott Weiland but he had it going on. The band looked big and they played good old songs that everybody knew.

And the main act were The Connells. I just could catch only a couple of songs cause I was strolling around the street looking for other stuff. This guys were the ones that had more crowd and a lot of people showed up. I missed them for a while and would have been glad to see more.

And another thing the King of Pops had a huuuuuggeeeee line. Like big.
