Día de los Muertos / Day of the Dead in Cuernavaca, Morelos. Mexico
Every year in Mexico we celebrate the Day of the Dead or Día de los Muertos as we say it in Spanish. It's a bright, colorful and beautiful tradition we do to honor our beloved ones that have passed away. This year I didn't get the chance to go to Mexico during this holiday but my awesome parents Carlos and Lupita took some pictures for me. The first set of pictures is from an event that took place in the Jardín Borda which is located in the main square center of Cuernavaca this week. The second set of pictures is a little altar that my Mom did by herself and with her friends. The "ofrenda" that I like the most is the one that is offered to Emiliano Zapata.
