Ad Campaign Review: Pepe Jeans Spring Summer 2011
Jon Kortajarena strikes again with this amazing Ad Campaign for Pepe Jeans. This brand is a pretty clear example on how powerful images can make a company do millions. Pepe Jeans hasn't been established as cool brand in the past. It had its peak in the early 90's and seemed to fade away. The clothes were nothing much but ordinary jeans but it had a catch among youngsters in that era. ¨Pepe¨ was a brand that people wanted to wear and show off.
Later after that, the London based company lost a little fame and its buyers stopped buying the products. The last 2 years have been a comeback for the brand specially since its advertising has changed. I don't know much about the quality of the clothes but Creative Director Tom Hingston for Studio/Warren and Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones. Have done a pretty cool job.
