Advertising and Fashion Review: Opera Rock Summer 2011 (Brazil)

 

I've always been a fan of Opera Rock from Brazil. I already knew the label even before going there for he first time. This is one of the most popular labels in the country. Brazil is one of the few countries I know that consume their own fashion in astronomical ways. Even they own the biggest fashion week in South America. Yes, I said in a previews tweet brazilians are everywhere.  

Opera Rock is known for being ahead of the curve and always bringing cool stuff to the market. As I would put it is the Diesel from their own market. They have a large presence nationally and I think they even have international stores. I was lucky to be tweeting to Brazilians today and some of them directed me to Opera Rock. 

For their communication and clothing part they follow worldwide trends but adapted to their own market. They're not far from the big American retail stores such as American Eagle and Abercrombie & Fitch from the US. But Opera Rock adds its own cool twist. Just look at the prints on their T-Shirts. They're really cool. Also they're very well known on putting the best images for their advertising and getting great response. In this images they're featuring the clothes amongst a Rock Fest as they call it.

As a reminder right now in Brazil its summer. Yes, even if it sounds weird. That's why Río de Janeiro becomes so popular for the December Holidays.
