Dashboard of Mexican Press

It's funny that during this trip to Mexico I'm finding myself in the middle of tons of magazines that were in my Dad's house. He buys a bunch of different tittles including Hello Magazine which is one of his favorites. Hello Magazine the Mexican edition has become really popular in Mexico displaying the lives of the rich and famous of the country and also shows the lifestyle of different personalities from Europe and other parts of South America.

But the most important thing for me is that the display of the images and the different titles that are spread in my Dad's house is what contributed a lot in my early years to decide my career. Its amazing how many images I was exposed to while I was a kid and also made me had a really accurate eye for what I like and how I want to portrait things. Magazines was one of the first reasons I wanted to become a photographer and travel around the world and meet more and more people.

Also, this kind of press is pretentious and speaks about the few lucky people that can have a glamourous lifestyle. Something that Mexicans tend to aquire all the time. A sort of status and high social life that is really difficult to have in most parts of the country. Mexico is built with so many social and economical contrasts that translates into what people like to read.
